For the past 3 years, my band The Unholy Mackerels has performed an annual fundraiser concert for theMeals on Wheels program of Dedham, MA. Being a big fan of the artwork of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, I always create a monster hot rod illustration to be featured on the show’s posters. In each one, I try to incorporate the theme of the show (Halloween, The Beatles A-Z, and St. Patrick’s Day), as well as some “food” element (to make it a true “meal on wheels”).
